-뒤늦게 마르잔 사트라피의 페르세폴리스가 프랑스에서 애니로 제작된다는 소식을 접했습니다. 감독은 본인과 단편애니감독(?) Vincent Paronnaud라고 하는군요 2007년 깐느에서 공개될 예정입니다. 페르세폴리스는 이슬람혁명과 여러 사건들을 어린 소녀 마르지(작가본인)의 눈으로 서술한 자전적 만화입니다. 새만화책에서 한국어판 단행본도 발매되었습니다. 아래의 링크에서 스틸이미지를 보실 수 있습니다.

-미국은 여성만화가가 매우 드뭅니다. 그래서 여성작가인 Lea Hernandez가 여성독립만화가들의 활발한 활동을 위해 100달러 가량의 상품을 걸고(온라인 연재공간제공) 작품을 모집했고 4편의 작품이 선정되었습니다. 이 행사는 매년 이루어질 예정이고 이번에 선정된 네편의 작품은 아래와 같습니다.
